This is just not right!

So I was reading a blog today over at Girl in the Glasses and read about dog rental services! WTF??? Apparently you can 'rent' a dog for a day or an hour! To me this is just wrong and un-nerving!
So after reading her post on the subject I did some research. Here is an article on 'pet renting' published in the New York times! To me this is just a repulsive thing to do to animals of any nature! They even have a website about it all!
Granted some of you may see this as OK or not 'that bad' but to me it is just sick!
They have these 'dog rental' places all over! There is one in NYC, Boston, Los Angeles, and even Chicago!
Apparently in Boston they are trying to ban the pet rentals! Thank goodness!
Think about these poor animals for a second. These dogs are up rooted almost on a daily basis with no real permanent home or love! UGH......Makes my blood boil!
With as much as they are paying to rent the dogs why not just buy a dog and love it!? You can read how much people are paying to rent these poor pooches here
I have to get off this topic now as my blood is boiling!
Signing off,

It's a FREE good deed!

"DO THIS 'FREE' GOOD DEED - Animal Rescue"

Just Click on Button on their web siteGets food for Animal Rescue & no cost to you

Hi, all you animal lovers. This is pretty simple...The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals.

It takes less than a minute (How about 20 seconds) to go to their site and click on the purple box fund food for animals' for free. This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertiser s use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising.

Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know. http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com
Thanks

Helping the animals have rights one day at a time!

What is the ASPCA ?

ASPCA stands for American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Who they are!
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) was the first humane society to be established in North America and is, today, one of the largest in the world. Our organization was founded by Henry Bergh in 1866 on the belief that animals are entitled to kind and respectful treatment at the hands of humans, and must be protected under the law. Headquartered in New York City, the ASPCA maintains a strong local presence, and with programs that extend our anti-cruelty mission across the country, we are recognized as a national animal welfare organization. We are a privately funded 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, and proud to boast more than 1 million supporters across the country.

Mission
The ASPCA’s mission, as stated by Henry Bergh in 1866, is “to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States.”

Serving Victims of Animal Cruelty
Our bold anti-cruelty campaign includes combining our animal protection efforts with the newest technology for solving animal crimes.
The ASPCA Anti-Cruelty Center in New York City will be the very first of its kind in the world. In it, our Humane Law Enforcement department—which continues to uphold New York City’s animal cruelty laws—will work with our forensics experts to help investigate and prosecute crimes against animals.
We help educate police officers, humane investigators, veterinarians, prosecutors and judges on how to respond to animal cruelty, including assisting in cruelty case investigations.
Our animal advocates fight tirelessly on state and national levels to pass laws that protect animals.

Thanks to these guys Animals are taken out of Cruelty every day!
